Our Platform Engineering Team consists of talented professionals across various disciplines - including SysOps, DevOps, DBA and Data Engineering, all working together to assist our product teams in designing, building, and scaling their infrastructure, services and Data Stack to support millions of hits per hour. Main tasks: - Develop, construct, test and maintain data architectures and pipelines - Understand the data requirements and provide support to our Analytics team - Design and develop data analytic models - Prepare data sets for other departments - Manage and maintain our Data Warehouse with high-quality data - Establish dependable streaming and batch data flows - Extract data from various sources (SQL & NoSQL Databases, APIs, Queues) - Monitor data pipelines and review data quality Requirements: - 2 or more years in similar roles or related fields with a data-driven approach - Extensive SQL and Data Modelling skills - High [ETL]/ELT development experience - Programming skills in Python, Golang - Experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Kinesis, S3, Athena, Glue, EMR…) Extra points: - Experience with non-relational and big data models (NoSQL, flat models, HDFS…) - Understanding of Event-Driven architecture - Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Nifi, Streamsets, Talend, etc) - Knowledge of modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc) - Some experience with automated infrastructure management (Infrastructure as Code) Benefits: - Private Health and Dental Insurance plan for employees - Subsidized gym memberships and fitness classes - Monthly internet allowance - Working from home set-up allowance - Company-sponsored Spanish, Catalan, and English classes - Sponsored training and development - Quarterly company bonus programme - Apple equipment of the highest quality - Remote policy and flexible working hours - Flexible bank holidays.
