We are currently expanding and seeking a motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our team in India. Responsibilities: - Understand the business requirements and processes concerning advanced analytics model execution. - Develop end-to-end data pipelines from ingestion to visual analytics using Python, SQL, and Snowflake. - Manage, enhance, maintain, and support our Snowflake-based data lake. - Support our business intelligence developers in delivering stunning visual analytics. - Develop, maintain and support our collection of analytical functions written in Python, SQL, and Snowflake. - Participate in our fast-paced, agile data iteration to deliver new capabilities timeously. - Harness key Snowflake features for processing, entitlements, ingestion, transformation, and data sharing. - Collaborate with data scientists, financial data analysts, software engineers, and other data engineers to develop potent solutions that utilize the cloud, big data, NLP, and ML. - Create machine learning models with advanced analytics techniques to expand our capabilities and deliver new business values. - Identify and present data-driven business insights. - Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation. - Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to drive real-time model implementations and the creation of new features. - Leverage existing data sources, identify and extract data from new sources, identify opportunities for primary data gathering initiatives, and provide recommendations on scaling new methods more widely. Requirements: - A university degree or equivalent in data analytics, statistics, math, or computer science, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Snowflake Certification or experience in Snowflake is a must. - Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL. - Previous experience with Azure ML Studio is preferred. - Experience in processing large data and developing Python and SQL for large data volumes. - Significant experience with unit and integration testing. - Excellent analytical, storytelling, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to communicate analytics recommendations to both technical and non-technical team members. - Strong understanding of quantitative (univariate and multivariate) analysis techniques. - Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning. - Extensive experience with statistical analytical techniques, data mining, machine learning, predictive models using Python, R, or similar tools. - Experience using scripting languages for data collection, organization, and manipulation. - Ability to work with highly ambiguous data, develop creative approaches to analytical problems, and interpret data and results from a business/industry perspective.
