About Client Experience at BlackRock
The Client Experience (CX) organization simplifies doing business with BlackRock, making service straightforward and a source of alpha. Our CX team is structured across four key pillars:
- Client Experience Delivery: Client-facing teams handling all service delivery and onboarding new business.
- Wealth: Offering differentiated capabilities for Whole Portfolio and Wealth clients and products.
- Client Experience Operations: Core client operations teams managing reporting, billing, and onboarding due diligence globally.
- Client Experience Transformation: Accelerating CX progress through research, analytics, marketing, and change management.
Team Overview: KYC/Due Diligence Operations
The KYC/Due Diligence Operations team within CX Operations delivers a streamlined, client-centric, risk-aware documentation process. The team covers new business and investment channels, creating a scalable due diligence platform for BlackRock.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensuring fund distribution partners meet AML/KYC requirements and adhering to proper AML/KYC procedures for new distributors and client file updates.
- Accurately filing, storing, and retrieving AML/KYC, tax, contractual, and documentation to support ongoing client and firm needs.
- Compiling and reviewing data and documentation for new and existing clients, and addressing business queries related to this information.
- Collaborating with Legal & Compliance and other internal partners to handle exceptions and ensure policies are followed appropriately.
- Leading the development and implementation of control environments, policies, and procedures, while driving innovation for an exceptional client experience.
- Managing projects within the team, ensuring change implications are understood, and maintaining a seamless client journey.
- Understanding financial markets and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on processes and client arrangements.
- Producing daily/monthly statistics for local and global leadership and internal oversight functions, and preparing relevant policies, procedures, and presentations.
Experience and Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Data Operations.
- Experience handling client documentation, preferably with AML/KYC laws and regulations, or broader documentation within financial services. Asset management industry experience is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of investment fund structures; experience with Luxembourg domiciled funds is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, comfortable collaborating with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Superb attention to detail, analytical abilities, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance and manage priorities to meet targets.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are an advantage.
- Additional language skills (Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish) are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other IT skills.

Our Hybrid Work Model
BlackRock's hybrid work model promotes collaboration and apprenticeship while supporting flexibility.
