THE ROLE We are seeking a UK-based, skilled, and detail-oriented E-Commerce Data Analyst to join the Digital Commerce team at Biglight. You will have a key role in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to provide meaningful insights for enhancing our clients' digital commerce strategies. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Digital Commerce, Digital Commerce Specialists, and Client Partners, to facilitate data-informed decision-making and boost our overall programme delivery. Requirements TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and extract data from different sources, such as digital analytics tools, to assist with analysis and reporting needs. Clean, modify, and verify data to ensure the preciseness and dependability of the analysis. Use statistical methods and tools to scrutinize vast datasets and distinguish patterns, trends, and insights. Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to present findings efficiently to both internal stakeholders and clients. Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor crucial performance indicators, such as conversion rates, customer acquisition, and retention. Carry out an in-depth analysis of performance metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement and suggest data-driven strategies to optimize client plans. A/B Testing and Experimentation: Support the team with the complete testing cycle, from opportunity identification and prioritization to metrics validation and experiment results analysis. Evaluate test results and provide actionable suggestions in collaboration with Digital Commerce Specialists and Optimization Specialists. Business Insights and Reporting: Generate regular and one-off reports to communicate performance metrics, trends, and actionable insights to internal teams and clients. Cooperate with stakeholders to define key business queries and develop analytical methods to address them. Perform deep-dive analysis to answer specific business questions, identify opportunities, and provide strategic suggestions. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EDUCATION AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role, preferably in the digital commerce industry. Extensive familiarity with major web analytics tools, primarily Google Analytics. Experience of A/B testing and the use of tools such as Monetate, Optimizely, and Qubit. Experience working with customer experience tools such as ContentSquare and Quantum Metric. Excellent problem-solving ability with the skill to identify and interpret trends and patterns in data. Strong communication skills for effectively presenting findings and insights to stakeholders. Capacity to work independently and collectively in a fast-paced agency environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality. Experience with BigQuery and/or SQL would be a bonus but not a requirement for the role. Experience with major data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker Studio would be a bonus but not a requirement for the role.
