Location: USA

At Weights & Biases, we are on a mission to build the best tools for AI developers. Weights & Biases is a Series C company with $250M in funding and over 200 dedicated employees. We are proud to serve over 1,000 customers, including prominent names like OpenAI, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Toyota.

The Manager will collaborate with stakeholders and leaders across the organization to provide compensation recommendations, ensure compliance and equity, and enhance the company’s overall compensation program.

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive salary ranges, including geographic differentials, base salary, and variable compensation structures.
  • Assist with equity administration and planning.
  • Serve as an internal compensation subject matter expert, partnering with stakeholders to provide proactive compensation analysis and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain analytics and dashboards to visualize compensation trends and insights.
  • Facilitate mid-year and year-end compensation planning and review cycles.
  • Provide guidance on compensation changes related to promotions, transfers, merit increases, or market adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and advise management on state and federal employment regulations and total rewards policies.
  • Own, maintain, and enhance our compensation platform, Assemble.
  • Lead the annual compensation survey submission process and maintain job codes in HR systems.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience analyzing compensation data, benchmarking roles, conducting trend analysis, and managing compensation cycles.
  • Proven experience scaling compensation programs at mid-stage, high-growth tech companies.
  • In-depth understanding of international compensation and best practices, particularly in Canada, Germany, UK, India, and Japan.

Nice to have:

  • Experience managing benefit administration for employees.
  • Ability to research employee benefits in similar industries and recommend changes or updates to existing benefits or policies based on findings.
  • Experience working with insurance brokers and investment planners to create competitive, cost-effective benefits packages, including facilitating implementation and enrollment for insurance and retirement plans.

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t perfectly align with the job description. We value diverse and creative perspectives.
