Job expired!

NVIDIA is seeking a first-rate intern to join our expanding research team. The ideal candidate will be conducting state-of-the-art research in the conjunction of Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Computer Graphics, collaborating closely with leading experts in these sectors. Equipped with tremendous resources in AI, graphics and robotics, you will have the opportunity to influence, contribute to and advance these thrilling domains. Topics will include but are not limited to AI for simulation, 3D Deep Learning, DL for animation, content creation, transfer learning, domain adaption, computer vision, and medical imaging. NVIDIA, with its unique, open culture, is one of the finest industry labs for conducting AI research.

Image recognition and voice recognition — GPU deep learning has laid the groundwork for machines to learn, perceive, reason and solve problems. Originally, the GPU functioned as the engine for simulating human imagination, building the amazing virtual worlds of video games and Hollywood movies. Presently, NVIDIA's GPU runs deep learning algorithms, simulating human thinking, and functions as the brain of computers, robots and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Just like human imagination and intelligence are linked, computer graphics and artificial intelligence merge in our architecture. Two modes of the human brain equate to two modes of the GPU. This may be why NVIDIA GPUs are widely used for deep learning and NVIDIA is slowly becoming recognized as "the AI computing company".

What you'll be doing:

  • Invent or utilize deep learning techniques in the field of 3D or 4D content creation (photogrammetry, generative AI).

  • Work towards enhancing realism and immersive qualities of VR environments and interactions, including generating content with AI techniques, intelligent characters, and crowd and traffic behavior.

  • Partake in projects to conduct Deep Learning research and publish papers to renowned conferences (e.g. CVPR, NeurIPS)

  • Perform product-oriented research for deep learning technology in Games, Virtual Reality, and other applications.

What we need to see:

  • Currently pursuing a B.S., Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Math/Physics/Statistics or a related field.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Requirements if pursuing a Bachelor’s:

  • Minimum 1 course on theories and practices of machine learning, including common machine learning frameworks

  • A record of academic excellence

Requirements if pursuing a Master’s or PhD:

  • Advanced knowledge of the theory and practice of machine learning

  • Minimum 1 strong publication record (NeurIPS, ICML, AAAI, CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, etc).

  • Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks

  • Record of research excellence
