MERL is seeking a self-driven intern to work on the development of algorithms for time series data analytics, system identification, and deep learning. The ideal candidate would be a senior PhD student with experience in areas such as system identification, deep learning, and mathematical optimization. The candidate should have strong programming skills, particularly in Python/PyTorch. Experience in creating heuristics for nonconvex optimization problems and building spatial-temporal prediction models would be beneficial. The intern will work alongside MERL researchers to develop algorithms and prepare scientific publications. The internship is expected to last 3 months, with a flexible start date.
