Equal Education Partners is hiring a Customer Success Data Manager on behalf of our client, a leading EdTech company that provides a teaching improvement platform for Primary schools, Secondary schools, and Multi-Academy Trusts across the UK. Our client, currently in a rapid growth phase, collaborates with over 200 schools and some of the UK's largest Trusts. As Data Manager, you will assist schools in tracking and monitoring students using our client's platform. The platform allows schools to analyze pertinent student data, including progress and attainment, attendance and exclusions, behaviour, and student strategies. This position would provide an ideal opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Multi-Academy Trust data manager seeking a new venture to expand their career. Responsibilities include: - Understanding the data requirements of schools and multi-academy trusts - Ensuring pupil progress and pupil data modules setup is optimized for customer needs - Advising schools on different methodologies used to track pupil progress from EYFS through to Sixth Form - Sharing good practices and lessons learned with schools and academy trusts for pupil progress tracking and other data analysis - Developing training materials, demos, and best practice processes - Conducting end-user webinar-based or in-person training on our platform as necessary, with teachers, senior and middle leaders, and data managers - Answering user inquiries about the platform and any technical questions - Supporting the customer success and sales team with pupil progress and pupil data inquiries - Collaborating with the development team to enhance the pupil progress and pupil data module - Understanding product enhancements and becoming a "go-to" person for customers and colleagues - Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Product departments to provide a comprehensive customer value proposition and solutions through a singular customer experience Requirements About you: - You are self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit - You have excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills - You have excellent written and verbal communication skills - You can build and maintain good relationships at all levels - You have excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with a high level of accuracy in work delivery - You demonstrate aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving - You have an affinity for software products and technical concepts - You have experience in a customer-facing environment - Previous experience explaining products to customers is a plus - You have a consultative approach when dealing with customers - You have a drive to constantly improve processes and systems Skills and knowledge: - You have a detailed understanding of the Progress 8 methodology and how to apply it - You have knowledge of the national performance table calculations from EYFS to Key Stage 5, including Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 5 subject value-added calculations - You are a quick learner when it comes to understanding government changes to performance tables and other published pupil data Desirable: - You have 3+ years of experience working as a school data manager or similar position - You have Project Management experience Benefits: - Permanent position - Competitive salary - You can work from home - MacBook & iPhone provided - Private healthcare benefits
