Job Summary
We are in search of a seasoned Data Operations Manager to steer our worldwide data operations, focusing on managing the corporation's data assets with a strategic perspective. The ideal candidate will not only supervise the gathering, storage, and management of data, but will also propel analytical activities to back up various marketing strategies. This role demands a leader proficient in directing data handling practices while ensuring alignment with our governance framework, particularly in relation to Salesforce systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead the data management team and nurture their development, setting high-performance standards and encouraging continuous growth.
- Assign projects, manage team workload, and make sure data management tasks are carried out effectively and punctually.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the operations of the data management sector, ensuring data across all systems is precise, complete, and reliable.
- Emphasize the implementation of effective data management processes, including automation and best practice techniques.
Strategy Implementation:
- Collaborate closely with high-ranking management to construct strategic plans for the deployment of data management systems and services.
- Execute these strategies, monitoring key performance metrics and adjusting methods as necessary.
Data Governance Participation:
- Engage in the development and enhancement of data governance policies to support regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices.
- Align data management strategies with the wider data governance framework to ensure consistent enterprise-wide standards.
Insight Analysis and Persona Development:
- Interpret insights from platforms like G2 and Terminus to inform data-driven marketing strategies and persona development.
- Supervise the updating and upkeep of persona profiles within the CRM to aid in accurate and effective sales and marketing campaigns.
Contact Lifecycle Oversight:
- Guide the strategy for renewing and reactivating contact lists post-engagement, optimizing the effectiveness of the sales pipeline.
- Make sure a process is in place for re-engaging contacts through campaigns and sales cadences following a period of inactivity.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the liaison between the data management team and other departments, meeting data requirements and integrating data practices with organizational goals.
- Interface with stakeholders to present data management results, insights, and plans for ongoing enhancement.
Required Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Managerial Experience: Over 10 years of experience with at least 5 spent in a managerial role and a minimum of 3 years leading data-centric teams, particularly in spaces utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Operational Proficiency: A proven success record in managing data operations with significant improvements in data procedures and systems.
- Governance Knowledge: Robust understanding of data governance principles and their application in a large enterprise.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively convey data management strategies to a diverse range of stakeholders.
