Job Description

lastminute.com is in the market for an ambitious and highly motivated Post Sales Data Analyst for our Data & Analytics division.

As an integral member of our team, you will primarily employ your analytical skills to produce actionable insights to enhance product performance and stimulate business growth.

Working closely with product teams, you will provide extensive analytical and technical support to bolster business intelligence and stimulate our company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to identify patterns and propose actions to enhance the customer experience
  • Produce reports to monitor initiatives, measure their impact, and track the performance of solutions in place
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and collaborate with technology teams for their implementation
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs and opportunities
  • Proactively propose new business opportunities
  • Assist in understanding how to measure each initiative, monitor their performance, and provide insights and recommendations accordingly
  • Communicate and present results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the company
  • Cooperate with other Data Analysts across the company on joint projects to identify synergies and improve data governance.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Robust analytical skills/mindset
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within a dynamic environment
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and exploring datasets
  • Deep knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Ability to influence decision-makers through analysis presentations
  • Sound understanding of statistical analysis techniques and their application using analytical languages (eg. Python/R)
  • Experience in visualizing data using data visualization tools
  • Experience in business partnering/stakeholder management

Desirable

  • STEM degree
  • Knowledge of TIBCO Spotfire
  • Understanding of data modelling and best associated practices related to analytical databases
  • Prior experience in the travel industry
  • Familiarity with digital and e-commerce business
