THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst for our Global Analytics team in Portugal!

The Global Analytics team at Gympass continues to grow, and as a member, you’ll be crucial in promoting a data-focused culture and helping to drive unique strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for the development and ongoing operations, including but not limited to creating and reviewing reports, building data dashboards, communicating directly with product partners, identifying patterns and trends in data sets from various product areas, and bringing up opportunities to steer and enhance our product as a strategic partner to our Product team.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Develop recommendations and drive improvements to data standards, processes, definitions or tools
  • Lead investigations/analysis in partnership with Product team leaders globally by providing analytical insights through visual data dashboards
  • Be an active participant in discussions with various global teams and have a say in the product’s direction
  • Uncover insights that will impact the broader business by leveraging relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple functional areas
  • Facilitate conversations to turn vague or poorly defined issues into addressable problems/questions, consulting with managers and team leaders to ensure alignment with the overall strategy
  • Align priorities with stakeholders guided by a sense of ownership, assessing cost versus benefit of decisions

WHO YOU ARE

  • Have a minimum of 4 years working with Data Analytics
  • Experienced in analyzing large data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable product recommendations
  • Possess excellent SQL skills
  • Have experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, Metabase etc.)
  • Able to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders in a way that promotes discussion and action
  • Comfortable working in unstructured, fast-paced, and constantly evolving high-growth environments
  • Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, creative, and experimental approach to problem-solving, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Possess excellent English communication skills
