Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
✔ Experience in creating both functional and data-specific plans for Business Analytics and BI projects.
✔ Involvement in work stream planning processes, from conception through to technical design, development, testing, and data solutions delivery.
✔ As a member of the IT team, you will work alongside your manager to provide business decisions based on qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This will involve highlighting insights and trends relevant to business performance.
✔ You'll work with customers to formulate and analyze data support requirements, communicating your findings to stakeholders and offering valuable recommendations for business performance improvement.
✔ Ensuring that data and analysis are presented in a format suitable for a diverse audience, using techniques such as data visualization, dashboards, or other methods.
✔ Applying strong database skills to large, complex datasets, extracting insights.
✔ Understanding business requirements and determining the best data consumption and decision support layer solutions. Identifying and contributing to new technology possibilities that could have an impact on data analytics systems across the enterprise.
✔ Potentially conducting ad-hoc analysis for a wide range of requests, using data in different formats from various platforms.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills Required
✔ A minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Intelligence systems, Data Warehousing, and Data Analytics solution implementation.
✔ A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
✔ Hands-on experience in developing Power BI visualization reports and the use of DAX for data manipulation.
✔ Advanced working knowledge of data mining using ETL, data warehouse, and Excel.
✔ Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling concepts, and the creation of new DW tables.
✔ Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
✔ Proficiency and prior implementation experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Python, R, or Java.
✔ Experience with direct customer handling is a plus.
