Your Team’s Impact:
The Content Solutions Architecture team at FactSet orchestrates the integration and onboarding of new data sets into FactSet. These areas include Indices, Deep Sector, Fundamentals, Mutual Funds, Private Equity, ESG among others.
As the Data Solutions Architect, you will aid the content onboarding process through in-depth partnership with stakeholders and industry experts. In addition, you will guide the product engineers through the leading-edge tech environment, solving complex issues, and building the data projects that our clients require.
Job Responsibilities:
- Become experts in our content pipeline and offer that expertise as a service to the greater organization.
- Analyze, comprehend, and model a range of complex data sets.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and developers to design data products that meet our clients' stringent needs.
- Work alongside engineering to test new technological advances that foster innovation and digital transformation.
- Advocate for and give feedback on industrialization through the adoption of best modern practices.
- Develop, sustain, and carry out department-wide training and e-learnings.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least three years of industry experience in Data Science or related areas.
Critical Skills:
- Profound knowledge of SQL.
- Mid-level experience with Python, NumPy and Pandas.
- Familiarity with Normal Form data modeling.
- Familiarity with Financial statement data, ESG, and other investment areas.
Additional Skills:
- Ability to work and collaborate with an international and cross-functional team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Education:
- An undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Finance, or Computer Science.
