NVIDIA is seeking an engineer who relishes direct customer interaction and finds satisfaction in contributing to software and products, to become a part of our Solution Engineers team working on products such as NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA vGPU! We are interested in someone with leadership skills and a drive to apply them. You will be interacting directly with clients to provide them with solutions. This will require you to assist with customer issues, find solutions, and keep customers updated on the status. You should have excellent problem-solving capabilities and communication skills, and you should be capable of handling multiple projects and tasks. You must have solid technical competence in Linux / Windows and good programming skills. We're seeking an experienced engineer to assist customers with software issues, solve their problems, and contribute to product and software support. This position is ideal for a leader capable of finding innovative solutions to enhance situations and procedures, leading teams and managing projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing direct support to our NVIDIA Enterprise customers, answering queries, reproducing, solving, or escalating customer issues.
- Collaborating with engineering teams on customer problems, offering logs, reproduction information, and other triage data.
- Creating/updating product and/or support tools.
- Taking ownership and driving customer issues from beginning to resolution.
- Documenting customer interactions to better enhance our knowledge base.
- Participating in the creation, maintenance, and versioning of documentation related to enterprise support processes, procedures and related guidelines.
- Establishing new best practices, identifying ways to improve how the team collaborates with others, leading teams and projects.
What we need to see:
- A minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of engineering experience.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- A sound understanding of Linux.
- Knowledge of Windows OS.
- AI/ML expertise.
- Experience and understanding of virtualization – VMware vSphere, Linux KVM, or other virtualization software.
- Professional-level communication skills, including the ability to adjust communication to technical level of audience, and remain calm and focused in negative situations.
- Excellent follow-up and organization skills, with a passion for problem-solving.
- Solid programming background and skills (python, C/C++, bash scripts).
The base salary range is 160,000 USD - 304,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
