About this role:
Gartner is currently seeking a Senior Specialist for its QUADS COE. This is an individual contributor role and is aligned to the Supply Chain practice. This team utilizes proprietary quantitative data and frameworks to provide original, actionable insights to key business problems facing senior executives across industries. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting/co-leading research content development and collaborating with global research teams to produce published content, presentations, and webinars. The role offers great exposure to a wide range of topics related to the management of Supply Chain and associated business functions (Procurement, Logistics, Quality) as well as the opportunity to apply and deepen understanding of statistical concepts in research.
What you'll do:
This position is for individuals interested in conducting quantitative research, data analyses and presenting insights using proprietary benchmarking and survey data, and creating compelling research products for Gartner clients.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Analyzing large, complex, disparate data sets to identify actionable insights for senior executives.
- Assisting with large-scale data collection efforts through large surveys; execute survey fielding, data collection, data aggregation, descriptive creation.
- Creating client-facing research deliverables such as client presentations, published research, webinars, and tools.
- Supporting the development of quantitative methodology proposals that use inferential statistical/econometric models to validate research hypotheses and identify actionable insights through data for Gartner clients.
- Creating compelling and unique data visualizations that accurately communicate insights and teaching points to Gartner clients.
- Effectively communicating and presenting analytical insights and narratives to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Working with internal stakeholders to use proprietary data for building additional new products and services.
What you'll need:
- MBA or master's degree or Ph.D. in Economics / Statistics / other related fields with significant expertise in data analysis, quantitative research, analytics or benchmarking.
- 2-4 years (not beyond this range) of experience at a leading research / data analytics / business intelligence / consulting firm
