About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to oversee pricing and packaging for Clari’s entire product lineup across all geographies. This role, which reports directly to Clari’s executive team, involves both strategic and operational responsibilities. Strategically, you will measure market opportunities, evaluate customer willingness to pay, and optimize our pricing model as new products are introduced. Operationally, you will launch pricing updates, oversee their effectiveness, conduct market and competitive pricing research, and analyze deals to ensure our pricing strategy aligns with product value.
Essential to this role is knowledge of strategic pricing, product management best practices, and strong data analytics/visualization skills.
This is a fully remote role available to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct market research on competitors and their pricing strategies.
- P&P Construct Design: Investigate and evaluate pricing and packaging strategies to exploit market opportunities and accelerate growth.
- New Product Pricing: Collaborate with the Product team to quantify market opportunities, lead sales, and customer research to test pricing and packaging strategies.
- Field Enablement: Serve as the go-to expert for all things Pricing & Packaging, including training, creating materials, and leading sales kickoff meetings.
- Pricing Offers: Design relevant pricing offers in partnership with GTM teams to meet specific objectives such as targeting certain accounts.
- Deal Construction: Work with Deal Desk to determine discounting strategies and assist sellers with pricing proposals.
- P&P Analytics: Monitor and optimize the value delivered to customers relative to the price paid, report on price realization and trends, and provide packaging insights.
Qualifications
- Prior expertise in pricing (consulting, strategy, or product management).
- 5 years of experience in a transformational strategic pricing role.
- 2+ years of SaaS pricing or strategy experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a software technology company.
- Experience in SaaS pricing, delivering strategic recommendations, and developing analytical frameworks.
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills.
- Advanced experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and dashboard creation.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and deliver detailed solutions and recommendations to senior leadership.
- A passion for products, customers, and business outcomes.
- BS degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA/MS a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in Product Management preferred.

Compensation

Your total compensation will be based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and education. The target cash range for this role is $116,300 to $174,400, which includes base salary and target incentives. The total
