Job Description

As a Workday Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Digital HR team by applying your knowledge in Workday's HCM system. Your primary goal will be to handle, analyze, and extract actionable insights from HR data within the Workday platform. By using Workday reporting and data analysis tools proficiently, you will aid in data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and overall alignment of HR strategy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Workday reporting tools to collect and manage HR data, conducting comprehensive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Produce regular and on-demand reports, dashboards, and visualizations to enable HR leaders to share key HR metrics and insights with stakeholders.
  • Custom Report Development: Develop and design customized reports and dashboards tailored to specific business needs using Workday reporting functions. Convert complex data findings into easily comprehensible formats for diverse audiences.
  • Data Insights: Collaborate closely with HR leaders to convert data into actionable insights that guide strategic HR decisions, bolster talent management initiatives, and enhance workforce planning efforts.
  • Data Accuracy and Compliance: Implement data quality checks within Workday to guarantee data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Regularly conduct data audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Optimization: Identify chances for process improvement within Workday operations. Using your Workday expertise and stakeholder management skills, partner with the IT Business Solutions team to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, International Mobility, Payroll, Central Operations, and other relevant teams to provide Workday-related support and insights for their projects.
  • User Training and Support: Act as a subject matter expert for Workday, offering guidance, training, and support to colleagues on Workday functionalities and reporting capabilities.
  • Stay Updated: Stay current with the latest developments and enhancements in Workday, and partner with the Head of Digital HR to proactively explore opportunities to integrate new features into Wood Mackenzie HR to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Workday Data Management: Use your extensive knowledge of Workday to support the People Services team in maintaining accurate and current HR data, advising on matters related to employee information, compensation details, benefits administration, performance evaluations, and more.

Qualifications

    • Will have attained a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent in-role experience.
    • Can demonstrate expertise in utilizing Workday's HCM system, including report building, end-to-end compensation review process management, data extraction, and analysis.
    • Adept at developing custom reports using Workday reporting tools.
    • Ability to convert complex data sets using statistical techniques and data visualization tools into engaging and captivating insights.
    • Showcase exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
    • Possess the effective collaboration skills required to work across HR teams and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
    • Regularly demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to identify challenges and provide innovative solutions based on data analysis.
    • Maintain a strong and current understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
    • Are devoted to handling sensitive data with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
    • Ability to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times when dealing with sensitive information

Additional Information

  • We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant is expected to be present in the office at least 2 days per week to promote and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
  • While this is expected to be a full-time role, part-time or flexible working arrangements will be considered.
