This fast-paced, dynamic and challenging work environment is always evolving. In response to increasing global demand for custom research solutions, we are currently expanding our research capabilities in Bangalore. We are in the process of establishing a unit that will serve as our Analytical Centre of Excellence, concentrating on collaborating with our worldwide Consulting teams on large and complex projects. Moreover, it will innovate and deliver its own unique line of products. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in business, competitive intelligence, consulting, or market research. Candidates should express exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English, and robust analytical, numerical, and data manipulation skills. We are searching for driven self-starters aiming to become internal industry or solution experts within our Consulting team and Euromonitor. The role requires conducting primary and secondary research on industry and company sources; critically reviewing, querying and consolidating research materials from in-country researchers; and compiling complex data sets in Excel and management reports in PowerPoint. A background in statistics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a similar field is a significant advantage. We're seeking individuals who are interested in innovative data visualization methods, data cleansing, data science, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence. Requirements: - An advanced level of numeracy, with the ability to assemble data models and carry out thorough checks across complex data sets compiled from various sources. - Good analysis and report writing skills topped with the ability to generate a comprehensive summary report from all gathered insights. - Confidence in engaging with trade sources to gain additional insight and confirm information found in the public domain. - Efficient desk research skills to strengthen and verify insight from other sources. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Ability to perform well under pressure, work promptly and efficiently when meeting tight project timelines and professionally handle tough client questioning. - Strong organisational skills and ability. - Tenacity and attention to detail. - Proficiency in excel and PowerPoint. - Background in engineering, mathematics, physics or computer science is an advantage. - Experience in data manipulation and cleansing, multi-dimensional scaling, and various types of data transformation. - Working experience in VBA, JavaScript, or R. - Ability to demonstrate and communicate findings to all stakeholders and the leadership team. - Proficiency in other widely spoken languages and editorial skills is an advantage. - Ability and confidence to work independently and make critical decisions on projects. - Confidence and ability to advance the post with minimum supervision. Optional qualifications: - Knowledge of econometric methods. - Experience in Python, SQL, SPARQL, HTML or similar. - Experience in web scraping. - Experience in implementing data-driven learning algorithms. - Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms like Neural Networks, Random Forest. - Experience in Semantic Search, Text Mining, Taxonomy, Ontology. - Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
