Vattenfall Electricity Distribution is in the midst of the energy transition and plays a central role in the powerful electrification currently taking place at a societal level where network capacity needs to double within the next 10 years. The transition involves significantly increased customer interactions where the department Customer Information and Insights' role is to understand our customer segments as well as their drivers and how the growth rate will look. The department acts as the information owner for all customer data and is responsible for the customer insight work.
Today, we are 15 colleagues and are now planning to grow with several new employees - including a Data Analyst for our office in Solna.
About the role
The customer insight and effect forecast work includes market analysis and translating this into impact on our business, understanding and analysing our customers and segments and building accurate effect forecasts to understand the growth rate. The department works on behalf of the business, i.e. the analyses performed are needs-driven and can vary depending on what is happening in our environment. We work in close dialogue with operations to understand and respond to their needs.
We are now looking for a Data Analyst to focus on developing our customer satisfaction survey - our "Customer Effort Score", CES. The customer satisfaction survey is distributed monthly to customers who have been in contact with Vattenfall Electricity Distribution through various channels. The existing survey has been in place for a few years, and there is a great need to review the methodology, technical solution, and handling/communication of results.
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the person responsible for the survey and participate in making the survey relevant based on our mission, find a relevant technical platform for distribution, conduct benchmarking against other companies in the industry, and establish how we should communicate the information to our organization. Customer satisfaction is one of the keys to understanding how we can develop our customer journeys, which is a tool for better understanding the customer's experience with us. Initially, you will also ensure that the customer survey is sent out, analysed, and presented continuously while the methodology is being developed.
The customer survey is in demand in many areas of the business, and currently, the analysis takes too long and is complicated, creating a need for a more structured and data-driven approach. Further, communication is a crucial part of our work. You will, together with the person responsible for the survey, frequently present the analyses internally within the company, where customer insights are in high demand across all levels. Your ability to present and adapt messages for different parts of the business is therefore important.
To be successful in the role, we believe that you have:
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
As the role of the department is to understand the needs of the business in the customer insight area, your communication and relationship building capability, both internally and externally, is important. You have an innovative and analytical side and the ability to transform insights into consequences. We also believe that you are agile and an initiator capable of handling the breadth of the role.
We offer
In addition to being part of shaping the future smart energy society, we offer a workplace with good opportunities for development. We encourage you who want to move forward and explore new areas within the company. With our career and development model, we want to create clarity in what opportunities you have to develop in the direction you want. It is important that life works as a whole and therefore we strive to ensure that our employees experience a good balance between work and leisure. We are convinced that diversity and inclusion lead to innovation, improved business results, and increased engagement, and we strive to represent the diversity of our customers and the society we operate in.
